It’s BLACK History Month, and that means we are shining lots of light on Black Muslims. So we thought we could let you know about some power black muslim figures of today. We decided to highlight some awesome Black Muslim Influencers you should be following. I’m sure you have a few creatives that you follow, but it won’t hurt to add a few more to your social media friends. What’s exciting about Muslim influencers is that we can always learn something new, such as a new Surah or a new dish to bring to your Eid gatherings. You probably have heard of the saying, "ladies first", so I will be shouting out some amazing Black Muslim Women influencers.

What do you look for when searching for an influencer? Are you looking to follow a person who can teach you a few things, or do you follow influencers for their personality? Influencers are not just people taking pictures, living a lifestyle, and enjoying millions of followers—they are the new pop-up ads that you see when you surf the web. Social influencers have a special relationship with their followers. Influencers are a trusted source of information and followers love it—When influencers promote products their followers are more likely to check them out and buy them.  Now, let’s get into the top black muslim women influencers you should all be following RIGHT NOW!

Whether it's traveling, makeup inspos, or muslim activism Shaymaa has you covered. Her photo went viral in 2019 as she posed in front of a mob of Islamophobic protesters. Shaymaa was attending a three day conference of the Islamic Circles of North America where she walked by the anti group. Instead of getting angry, this powerful black muslim woman decided on the last day of the conference to combat their "hatred with kindness"
