My husband Mahmoud and I swiped on Salams the day I told myself I was deleting the app. I saw his profile and thought...hmmm, wait let me just swipe on this one and see what happens. SubhanAllah, after a few text exchanges, we were comfortable enough to have a first call. On our first call, he made me genuinely laugh. At our first meeting, he excused himself so that he could pray, to which I responded, can I join you? Alhamdulillah, it's now been over a year and a half of praying together.
